Thai House

This was just my second time going to the Thai House. Though, only today, did I have teriyaki chicken. Their chicken is cut into small, nonuniform pieces, then cooked stir fry style. From what I saw, all the pieces were white meat. This sauce had a sweet, almost pineapple like, flavor. It's texture was somewhere between thick and thin. One important thing to remember, the sauce covered the entire plate, there was so much of it. Served with broccoli and carrots on the side. This meal was a lunch special dished with fried or steamed rice and garden salad or soup of the day. I liked this version due to it's flavorful sauce. 5/5 stars

Saigon Pho

While in Chandler yesterday, my mom and I visited Saigon Pho, a Vietnamese restaurant. This version of teriyaki chicken was served over steamed rice (otherwise known as white rice). The chicken is both white and dark meat, grilled then cut into small pieces. Instead of sauce, the chicken was marinated in teriyaki. The marinade was reasonably salty. The vegetables on the side included, carrots and cabbage. What I liked about this type of chicken is that it is both simple and tasty. 4/5 stars
