I went to Aloha Kitchen in Mesa with my brother and my mother today. I got the Teriyaki Chicken Plate. This order includes teriyaki chicken served on a bed of cabbage with a scoop of Japanese sticky rice and your choice of macaroni-potato or tossed salad. I always get an extra scoop of rice instead of salad because I don't like mayonnaise or salad dressing. Aloha Kitchen's style of teriyaki chicken has more of an island feel to it. It's sauce is thicker and sweeter than most places and the chicken has a moister taste. The chicken is probably moister because they cook the chicken then cut it. Personally, I think Aloha Kitchen's style has no flaws. 5/5 stars.
